initrd in Fedora Core 6 is a gzipped cpio archive which can be extracted using:
$ cd /tmp
$ gunzip < /boot/initrd.img |cpio -i --make-directoriesBookmark/Search this post with
extracting initrd.img file on Fedora Core 6
