The default shell on most Linux operating systems is called Bash. There are a couple of important hotkeys that you should get familiar with if you plan to spend a lot of time at the command line. These shortcuts will save you a ton of time if you learn them.

Exclusions can be defined by regular expressions. A maximum individual file size limit can be defined. Backups may be saved to any local and remote directories that are supported by gnome-vfs. There is a Gnome GUI interface for configuration and restore.

Below, we will see evidence supporting all three assertions. We will also see a ist of a few important sites which are happily using vsftpd. This demonstrates vsftpd is a mature and trusted solution. vsftpd is an FTP server, or daemon. The “vs” stands for Very Secure.
